2. 全文格式模板
稱(chēng)呼語(yǔ)，
（1）說(shuō)明寫(xiě)信目的，及簡(jiǎn)要說(shuō)明申請(qǐng)內(nèi)容。
例：
I am writing to apply for admission to ...
I am very interested in ...
（2）細(xì)說(shuō)申請(qǐng)?jiān)?，概述個(gè)人情況。
例：
Please review my educational/occupational history and let me know whether I can have a chance/obtain an opportunity.
（3) 盼望盡快回復(fù)，并且表示謝意
例：
Thank you for your consideration and I’m looking forward to your reply.

3. 參考范文
Directions:
Suppose you are a college student; write a letter of application to the Department of English of Harvard University, asking for admission as a graduate student. In your letter you should
1）show your purpose and desire.
2）describe your education background and working experience, and
3）express your wish to have an opportunity
You should write about 100 words on ANSWER SHEET 2.
Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Zhang Wei” instead.
Do not write your address. (10 points)

Dear Sir or Madam,
(1)I am writing to apply for admission to your university to further studies in the field of English. (2)Please review my educational history and let me know whether I can have a chance.
I was admitted to Peking University as an English major in September of 2006. Throughout four years of study, I have maintained an average score of no less than 90. Since graduation in 2010, I have been working as a teaching assistant in the English Department there, and in the same year, I received my B.A. degree. If you consider me a qualified candidate, please send me the appropriate forms to apply for admission.
