考研英語中有很多形容詞意思相同、相近，但是運(yùn)用的語境確迥然不同，它們是完型中?？嫉目键c(diǎn)。大家要注意在寫作中選擇適合的詞匯，今天就帶大家區(qū)分常見的兩組。
一、 evident， manifest，obvious，distinct——“明顯的，顯然的”
1、apparent 表示一眼就可以看出來的明顯。
Eg: The copious moisture of a tropical climate was apparent in the rich luxuriance of the vegetation.
翻譯：熱帶氣候的豐盛濕氣，在豐富盛宴式植物景觀中可以得到明顯見證。
2、evident 表示需要“簡(jiǎn)單推理”的明顯，而不是一眼就看出來的。
Eg: Signs of a rebound are evident in the City, the British equivalent of Wall Street.
翻譯：作為英國(guó)的華爾街。倫敦金融城已浮現(xiàn)明顯的回升跡象。
3、manifest 直白的，明白的。
Eg: He smiled at the manifest absurdity.
翻譯：他對(duì)這明顯的謬論付之一笑。
4、obvious 萬金油。
Eg: This revised edition has corrected several obvious mistakes in the previous editions.
翻譯：這個(gè)修訂本糾正了以前版本的幾個(gè)明顯的錯(cuò)誤。
5、distinct 截然不同的，因?yàn)椴煌@眼的。
Eg: There are several distinct differences between a house and home.
翻譯：房子和家之間存在著幾個(gè)明顯的不同。
二、 credible，credulous，plausible——“可信的”
1、credible a..可信的，可靠的。
Eg: That the student told the teacher a credible story that she missed classes because she was sick.
翻譯：那個(gè)學(xué)生跟老師講了實(shí)情，她沒來上課是因?yàn)樗×恕?/span>
2、credulous a.輕信的，易于相信的。
Eg: She was credulous when she listened to the salesman and bought the car for too much money.
翻譯：她很容易輕信別人，竟然聽信那個(gè)銷售員的話以高價(jià)買了那輛車。
3、plausible a.似乎有理的(可信的)。常帶有懷疑的意思。
Eg: Even though it is a plausible explanation, I am not completely convinced.
翻譯：雖然這個(gè)解釋合理，但仍不可能使我完全相信。
